- "I love AR. I've been racing for 5 or so years now, but recently moved to NC from MI so I'm not as integrated into the community and don't have any steady racing partners."
- What's your strongest AR discipline - biking, paddling, trekking, ropes, navigation? Your weakest?
- "I don't really have an superb strengths, but I'm not weak at anything either. I have a good amount of experience, and have made lots of mistakes which is always helpful though!"
- Have you participated in an adventure race before? What is interesting to you about AR?
- "ARs are always different, and you get to see so many beautiful parts of the state you wouldn't see otherwise."
- Have you learned how to use a compass and map to navigate?
- "I'm a slightly above average navigator."
- Have you ever mountain biked on a trail at night?
- "I've raced in the dark before, to include all disciplines, including mt. biking, at some point. Nav at night is pretty challenging!"
- Have you ever reached a point in an adventure (race or not) where getting dirtier/wetter didn't matter any more? Did that feel like despair or freedom?
- "It definitely felt like freedom! Depending on the situation and company, the same situation but with utter mental exhaustion can kinda feel like despair. So I've felt both!"
- Additional information:
- "I'm willing to travel out of state for races. I'm looking at races in MI, KY, SC, GA, and VA. If anyone wants to check some out with me, let me know!"

Hey Andy,
Are you going to any adventure activities any time soon? I still yet to make an appearence...no t true I did attend the Raven Rock Rumble last month. I have a sprained ankle (now looks like a cankle) so I didn't do all that great. Anyway, let me know if you are going to a planed event soon. I'll need time to get someone to cover for me a work. (I basically work 7 days a week so any time off is great!) -
I'll have to give the lake campout some serious thought. I've made prior plans to campout that same weekend with a group of runners at Masonboro Island. I have a business here in Fayetteville, so I need to figure out my game plan soon. keep in touch.
