This will be the first running of the Bushwhack Adventure Race! Local racers Patrick, Jeff, and Don will be putting on this new event in the Triangle area. The 2009 BAR will include a 24 hour course and will be part of the Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Race Series.

Check the race website for updates. More info will be added as plans are finalized.

If you're not racing in this one, please consider volunteering. It's just as much fun, a lot easier, you learn a lot, and you earn credit towards future race entry fees! Contact Don C for more information.

      “ As expected a fantastic course and layout. Great post race meal and swag. The weather was amazing considering it rained most of friday night and saturday 30 min away. The prolog was frustring and totally demoralized us but we did not give up and made sure we had a great time. (We should have given up on the point like most of the teams did but instead we searched1 1/2 hrs more) Thanks again for put this together. I was exciting to race locally ”
